- Soak black chickpeas overnight or atleast 5 to 6 hours.Pressure cook chickpeas with little salt and 1/4 th cup water,4 to 5 whistles or till done.Boil potatoes and slice them into semi circles.Assemble all ingredients.Chop onion,cilantro.Make a tangy sweet and sour tamarind chutney by boiling tamarind with little salt, sugar,red chilli powder and roasted cumin powder.Add 1 pinch red chilli powder and 1/4 th tsp cumin powder to curd.Add 1 tbsp water and mix well.
- Mix all ingredients in the sliced boiled potatoes.Toss well.Sprinkle pinch of red chilli powder and cumin powder.Then garnish with chopped coriander (cilantro) and aloo bhujiya. Serve chilled healthy potato salad.
