The ingredients needed to prepare Podi Dosa:
  1. Prepare For Dosa batter
  2. Get 1 cup white whole urad(dal)
  3. You need 1 1/2 cup parboiled rice (ukada rice)
  4. Get 1 1/2 idli rawa
  5. Use 1 tbsp chana dal
  6. Provide 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  7. You need as needed molagapodi powder
  8. Take as needed Ghee for roasting
  9. Prepare To serve
  10. You need as needed Coconut chutney
  11. Use as needed Sambhar
Instructions to make Podi Dosa:
  1. For dosa batter wash trice with water & soak white urad (dal), parboiled rice,idli rawa, chanadal & fenugreek seeds for 6 hours or overnight.
  2. First grind soaked urad dal, then add parboiled rice with chanadal, fenugreek seeds to it and lastly add idli rawa in wet grinder..to make smooth dosa batter. Add salt and keep cover in warm place for fermentation for 8 hours.
  3. Heat non stick dosa tawa, grease with oil, wipe out with tissue paper. Pour a laddleful of fermented dosa batter on it. Spread evenly on hot tawa. Sprinkle 1 tsp malgapudi powder on dosa. Sprinkle melted ghee all over it.
  4. When lower side get crispy golden brown, fold and serve hot. Similarly prepare all podi dosas.
  5. Serve/ Relish Delicious Hot Podi Dosa with coconut chutney and sambhar.
