  1. Get 200 gms Paneer
  2. Take 1 tbsp black mustard seeds
  3. Take 2 tbsp yellow mustard seeds
  4. You need 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  5. Prepare 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Use 4-5 green chillies
  7. Get to taste Salt
  8. Get as required Mustard oil
  9. Take as required Banana leaves
Steps to make Paneer paturi:
  1. Firstly make square slices of the paneer. Deep it into lukewarm water for 2 mins, it makes the paneer soft but you can skip it if you want.
  2. In a blender jar take both black and yellow mustard, poppy seeds, salt as per your taste, turmeric powder, green chilli,little water and make a smooth paste.
  3. In a mixing bowl take the mustard mixture and 2 tbsp of mustard oil then mix well. Now add the paneer slices and mix with gentle hand and keep it aside for 15 mins.
  4. Now take a paneer slice with some masala on a banana leaf. Add a slitted green chilli and tie it with a thread. Repeat the process with all paneer slices. The slitted green chillis are optional but it tastes really good after being cooked.
  5. Heat a Tawa or a pan, add little oil and then place the paturis (paneer wraps) and cook for 2 to 3 mins on each side keeping the flame on medium to low.
  6. Your paneer paturi is ready to serve with some hot steamed rice.
