- Prepare 1 cup Chawli/Lobia
- Use 1 medium onion (grated or grinded coarsely)
- Get 1 tomato (chopped)
- You need 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- Use 1 tsp Whole jeera(cumin seeds)

- Provide 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1-2 slit/chopped green chillies

Instructions to make Lobia/Chawli/Soyabean Masala:
- Boil the chawlis by adding water, salt & half tsp turmeric powder, in cooker for 4 whistles on medium flame.
- Now heat a kadai/pan. Add some oil to it. Now add jeera to it. When it starts spluttering, add grated onion, chopped tomatoes, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder & sugar. Mix everything well & saute it on a low flame until oil starts releasing from the masalas.
- Now add the chawlis to it. Mix everything well. Add 2/3rd cup of water, if required at this stage. Now cover the pan & cook it on a low flame for about 5 to 7 mins. Finally add some chopped coriander leaves & serve it hot.
