The ingredients needed to prepare Palak uttapam:
  1. Provide 200 gm palak
  2. You need 1 tomato
  3. You need 1 onion
  4. Take 1 cup sooji
  5. Take 1 cup dahi
  6. Prepare 1/2 spoon namak
  7. Use 1/4 spoon dhania powder
  8. Use 1/4 spoon lal mirch
  9. Prepare 1/2 tea spoon garam masala(optional)
  10. You need 1/2 spoon rai
Instructions to make Palak uttapam:
  1. Chop onion,tomato and palak separately.
  2. Take a bowl and put curd and sooji and mix well and beat with a beater adding half to one glass of water in parts to make a smooth batter.
  3. Keep aside for half an hour.
  4. Take a non-stick pan and add two spoon of oil and slowly add the batter with a round karchi and spread well on tawa.
  5. Cook on high flame for 4-5 min.
  6. On the top of batter add chopped onion,tomto and palak.
  7. Sprinkle some rai seeds over it.
  8. Turn the uttapam upside down when it is cooked well from one side on tawa.
  9. Now add one more spoon of oil on all the sides and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame keeping in mind that the uttapam is not over cooked.
  10. Once it is crispy from both the sides and turn brown take it away from tawa on a plate.
  11. Your palak uttapam is ready to serve.happy cooking.
