The ingredients needed to prepare Rasgulla Chaat:
- Provide For Green chutney-
- You need 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
- Prepare 1/4 cup mint leaves
- Take Pinch black salt
- Provide 1/2 Juice of a lemon
- Prepare 4 green chillies
- Use 1 tsp cumin powder
- Provide 2 tbsp curd
- You need For Sweet chutney-
- Use 1/2 cup soaked tamarind
- Take 50 gms jaggery
- Provide 1 tsp chilli powder
- Get to taste Salt
- Take 1/2 cup water
- Use as required Potato mixture
- Get 1/2 cup cubed boiled potatoes
- Take 1/4 cup chopped onions
- Get Pinch black pepper
- Get Pinch cumin powder
- Prepare Pinch black salt
- Prepare Other ingredients
- Get 10-12 rasgulla
- Get 1 cup nylon sev
- Use 5-6 sev puri papdi
- Get as required Pomegranate kernels
- Prepare For other method-
- Provide 1/4 cup mint coriander paste
- Prepare 1 tsp jaljeera powder
- Provide 1/2 cup water
Instructions to make Rasgulla Chaat:
- For the first method, take all ingredients for the green chutney in a mixer & grind to a smooth chutney, for the sweet chutney, take the soaked tamarind, jaggery & other ingredients in a pan & bring to a boil, cover & cook till jaggery has dissolved, reduce till the sauce thickens, strain & keep aside.No using a lemon squeezer, squeeze out the sugar water from the rasgulla & soak it in the green chutney,
- Soak for 10 minutes then remove & roll in sev. In the meanwhile prepare the potato mixture by taking all the ingredients in a bowl & mash lightly. For the assembly top, the rasgullas & add some of the potato mixtures over it. Finally, garnish with some pomegranate seeds. For the second method, grind together coriander leaves & mint leaves to a chutney, add jaljeera powder & water, take the squeezed rasgulla & soak it in this liquid for 15 minutes.
- When serving top with potato mixture, sev & pomegranate seeds.
