The ingredients needed to prepare Jubnah Samosa:
- Take 1 Onion small
- Get 12 Samosa Patti (sheets)
- Provide 1 cup Yoghurt (dahi)
- Prepare 1-2 Green Chillies
- Prepare 2 Tbsp Fresh Coriander chop
- You need 1 Tbsp Springonion(green only)
- Provide 1/4 tsp Salt (to taste)
- You need 1 Tbsp All Purpose Flour (maida)
- Provide 1-2 Tbsp Water
- Get Oil to fry
Steps to make Jubnah Samosa:
- Take one cup fresh curd (dahi). Take a white muslin cloth.place curd inside cloth & tie it in knot. (you can use small cloth bag or potli as well).hang this cloth or potli at a hook & place a bowl under it.water from dahi will drip out from mulmal(muslin)cloth & dry dahi will remain inside.you can leave it for few hours or even overnight for better results.
- After 3-4 hours, all water is drained & only thick curd is left inside cloth bag.take this out in a bowl.this is our Jubnah for samosa.
- Finally chop small onion,coriander, green chillies, green part of springonions only.add these to hung curd with salt.mix well.
- Spread samosa patti in a tray& cover them with wet towel till use. Make paste of 1tbsp maida with water for basting.
- Take one samosa patti,fold it,make cone & put curd filling inside it. Apply flour paste to seal the ends & fold samosa in regular manner.
- Male all jubnah samosa in similar manner.the jubnah gether from 1 cup hang curd is enough for around 15-16 samosa.
- Heat oil at medium.add samosa in oil & let them puff up & comes to surface themselves.do not touch with spoon too much nor turn them before turning golden from one side.
- When turned golden from both sides,take out from oil & keep at strainer or kitchen towel.enjoy hot crispy, different flavour of Jubnah Samosa with cookpad & make it a part of your dastarkhawan this Ramadan.
