- Prepare 1 cup idli rice
- Provide 1/2 cup chana dal

- Mix all the above lentils and soak in water for 4-5 hours..now add curd and grind in the mixer to form a paste..now add green chillies,coriander leaves,red chilli powder,turmeric,salt and grated Carrot,cabbage and bottlegourd..now mix everything..
- Lastly add a packet of eno..now take a nonstick pan..add oil on it then add cumin seeds and sesame seeds..now add the batter..now wait till it becomes crispy on both the sides(golden brown)..your handvo is ready
- Now for the chutney add all the above chutney ingredients and grind it in the mixture.. your chutney is ready.
