The ingredients needed to make Besan Sooji Halwa:
  1. You need 1 cup Besan/Gram flour
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup Sooji/Rava
  3. Get 1 cup Sugar

  1. Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan.

  3. Add suji, cardamom powder and roast it till colour change and a nice aroma comes.
  4. Make a thin sugar syrup in a saucepan from sugar and water.
  5. Add this sugar syrup in roasted besan suji.
  6. Mix well, stir continuously and cook till halwa becomes thick and ghee starts separate.
  7. Switch off the flame and garnish halwa with chopped almonds.
