Instructions to make Sooji ka Halwa:
- Heat desi ghee in a karahi. Add sooji, besan and wheat flour and roast the mixture in kadai till golden brown.
- In the meanwhile in a separate pan heat water. Add sugar and green cardamoms till sugar is dissolved completely.
- Now add shredded dry fruits in the roasted suji mixture and roast it for another 2 minutes.
- Now add sugar & green cardamom mixed hot water slowly in the kadai stirring the mixture with serving spoon to avoid formation of lumps.
- Stir the mixture till desired consistency is required. Switch off the heat and sprinkle coconut powder and pistachio.
