The ingredients needed to cook Chicken Masala:
- You need 500 gms Chicken cut into small peices
- Get 3 onion chopped
- Prepare 3 Tomato chopped
- You need 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Provide 2 green chilli slit
- Get 1 spoon corriender chopped
- Take 1/2 cup curd
- You need 1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- Take 1 tsp jeera powder
- Take 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Use 1 tsp garam masala
- Use 5 Cloves
- Provide 6 Black pepper
- Get 1 dalchini
- Prepare 2 Small cardamom
- Prepare 1 badi elaichi
- Provide 1 javetri
- You need 2 Bey leaf
- Provide 4 tbs oil
- Provide 2 tsp salt
- Prepare water as per requirement
Instructions to make Chicken Masala:
- For marination
- Take chicken put 1/2 tsp haldi powder, 1/2 tsp Jeera Powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp salt, curd, 1 tsp sarson oil. mix it well with the chicken refrigerate for 1 hour.
- In a deep kadhai take 2 tb spoon oil. when the oil is properly heated put the sabut garam masala( laung/ Elaichi/ Dalchini /black/ tej patta/ javetri/ pepper and stir for 30 secs. now add the chopped onions. saute it till the onion gets golden brown around - 5 mins. now add the ginger garlic paste and mix it properly and cook for 2 mins.
- Now add the Tomatoes, and cook for 5 mins with covered lid.
- Now keep the onion masala in a vessel.
- Take 2 tb spoon oil let it heat. when it's properly heated put the marinated chicken into it. Take out the chicken from freeze at least 15 mins before cooking.
- Now stir fry the chicken till they are almost cooked. may be for 5-7 mins.
- Noow add the onion masala into it and mix it well. add 1 cup water water if required. coom for 2-3 mins. now add the remaining powdered masala( garam masala/ Red chilli powder/ Jera powder/ Dhaniya Powder/ salt / haldi and also 1 tsp chopped dhaniya and mix well.
- Cook in a low flame for around 10 mins…… till the chicken is properly cooked.
- Serve with Steamed rice or paratha……
