- Take 1 cup While wheat flour

- Take 1 cup Split green bean
- Provide 1/4 cup Split bengal gram
- Prepare 2 Tomatoes
- Provide 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder

- You need 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- Get 1 pinch Asafoetida
- You need 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- Provide 2 Green chillies (finely chopped)
- Prepare 6-7 Garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- Get 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- Use 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- Use 2-3 tablespoon Clarified butter
Steps to make Dal bafla:
- For bafla:- In a bowl, take whole wheat flour, salt, baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, carom seeds and 2 tablespoon of oil and mix it until it starts holding shape.
- Now preapre a semi-soft dough of it and leave it to rest for 8-10 minutes.
- Divide it in equal portion and give it the shape of bafla.
- Take a vessel and add 2-3 cups of water, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and 1/4 teaspoon of oil in it and allow it boil.
- Then drop raw bafla in it and boil it until it starts floating on the surface of water then take it out of water and allow it cool down.
- Now cut it into pieces and shallow fry it.
- For dal:- In a bowl, add split green moong bean and split bengal gram in it and soak it in water for 2-3 hours.
- Then transfer it into pressure cooker and add salt, turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon of oil, tomatoes and water (as per the requirement) in it and cook it for 3-4 whistle.
- Heat clarified butter in a wok, add cumin seeds and asafoetida in it and allow it to splutter.
- Then add chopped green chillies and garlic in and cook it for a minute.
- Then add red chilli powder in it and mix it then add cooked dal in it and cook for 8-10 minutes on medium flame.
- Now add garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves in it, mix it well then switch off the falme.
- Dal bafla is ready to serve now.
