- Get 1 red round red dry chilli
- You need 1/4 tsp cummin seeds

- Wash split bengal gram,soak for 2 hours. Pressure cook with little water and salt.
- Heat ghee in kadhai,add dry red chilli, cummin seeds,bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom,clove. Saute for 1 min.
- Add turmeric powder, slit green chilli,ginger, coriander powder. Mix and saute for 1 min.
- Add cooked chanadal. Mix and add salt and sugar. Cook till water evaporates..to make it dry. Garnished with finely chopped fresh coriander leaves.
