- Put chana dal,onion,tomatoe,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder and salt in a pressure cooker.
- Add 2 cups water.Cover the lid and cook on high flame till 2 whistles.
- Simmer the flame to lower and further cook for 5 minutes.
- Let pressure release itself.Mix and adjust the consistency of your choice.Add blended curd.Mix.Take out in serving dish.
- Heat ghee in a tadka pan.Add chopped onion and cumin seeds.Fry till golden.Remove from flame,add 1tea spoon kashmiri chilli powder and pour over dalcha.
- Dalcha is ready to serve.Serve with boiled hot rice.
