  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  7. You need 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  8. Take 1 pinch asafoetida or hing
  9. Prepare As needed curry leaves
  10. Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. Prepare Salt as per taste
  12. Prepare 1 tsp sugar(optional)
  13. Prepare 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  14. Get 2 tbsp gram flour or besan
  15. Take 1 cup water or as required
  16. Provide as needed Chopped Coriander Leaves
Steps to make Dahi vindi:
  1. In a kadai add 2 tblspn of oil. Add the vindis and fry till they become dark green from all sides. Keep aside.
  2. Meanwhile in a bowl add the curd, besan, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, water and mix untill it become smooth.
  3. In the same kadai add 1 tblspn of oil. Add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, methi and hing. Once they splutter add the curry leaves. Then add the prepared curd mixture. Lower tge flame and cook for 2 to 3 mins. You can add water if required.
  4. Now add the fried vindis, salt and sugar. Cover with a lid and cook for another 2 mins over low flame.
  5. Open the lid. Stir and add in the chopped coriander leaves and the dahi vindi is ready to serve. It goes perfect with chapati.
