- Now add garam masala powder, red chilli powder, salt and tamarind, ginger garlic and chili paste and cook for few seconds.

- Once, its boiling, add soaked rice, cover with led and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then cook on very low heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
